A quick build of a new heavy duty workbench

So, I wanted a heavy duty FLAT workbench to build things on. I didn’t want to take the time to build a torsion-box workbench, I have too many other things to get done before I get to that, but I did need a stable platform to work from in the meantime that wouldn’t break the… Read More »

Uvex Safety Goggles

So, it was time to find some decent safety goggles, having too much sawdust flying in my eyes finally started to get on my nerves. Historically I’ve hated safety goggles because I wear glasses and nothing every fits well, and if it does, I end up having everything fog over on the inside and can’t… Read More »

Refinishing a rocking chair

These are images of a project I start in July of 2015 — yeah, it’s still not completed. My wife would say that’s par for the course for me lol. I seem to start alot of projects and never seem to have time to complete them. I guess I just have alot of things to… Read More »

Dresser #2

This is another dresser I built, but didn’t take any “in progress” pictures of. I only have a few pics of what it looks like finished.

The new Delta 1200 scroll saw.

This is the new (to me) Delta 1200 scroll saw. I believe from the serial number that this might be from 1939. It was originally in a school, and then one other person and now me. It is in exceptional condition considering the age. It functions just fine, and has actual oil still in it,… Read More »

Doghouse build – part 1

This is a set of pictures showing the dog house build.  I imagine it will be between two and three hundred pounds when completed.  It’s a pretty substantial doghouse.  2×4 walls, 3/4″ treated plywood floor, 4×4 runners to set on, will be shingled and sided when complete.  I will put completed pics up once it’s… Read More »
